What does true leadership mean? True leadership is leading by example. Those who live their life with a meaningful purpose to help others in an ethical manner are true leaders.
For what in life do you feel most grateful? I am most grateful for my family. My wonderful husband who always supports me and our incredibly talented daughter who always makes me proud.
Where is my happy place? My happy place is in Ormond Beach Florida. This is my family’s second home and we try to visit as often as we can.
There isn’t anything hard work can’t fix.
In another life, I would probably be: a financial planner. I love what I do and love helping people achieve their goals.
My all-time favorite role-model is: my father. He instilled ethical values in me while teaching me the value of hard work and loyalty.

Margaret joined the Acorn team in 2017. She comes to us with over 20 years of experience as a Financial Advisor and was previously the top producing female representative at Voya Financial.
Since the mid 1990’s, Margaret has proven herself a loyal industry professional. She concentrates on helping clients achieve their retirement dreams through personal, goal orientated financial planning. Margaret is frequently called upon to lecture at local businesses and private organizations on a variety of financial subjects. Her most rewarding area of focus lies with Civil Servants and the men and women serving our country. This stems from her overseas birth into a military family and following in her father’s footsteps into a decade of federal service. Margaret’s experience, along with the relationships she developed has earned her a spot as a regular instructor of financial planning classes for adults.
Margaret resides in the City of Manassas, Virginia with her husband Duane and her daughter Megan.
