What is the best advice you have ever received? We put a man on the moon before we put wheels on luggage. There are always new ideas, and there is always room for creativity and innovation. You just have to dig for it.
When you are not at the office, you can often be found doing what? Spending time with my growing family, playing pickleball, or cooking!

One day, I would really like to: open a flower shop.

DeAnna joined the Acorn family in January 2015. She currently supervises the tax team on identifying and solving complex tax issues for personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring a smooth transition from strategy to execution. As a liaison between Acorn’s team of experts and our valued clients, she ensures you are receiving proactive tax planning and creative business and advisory solutions throughout the year. DeAnna assumes responsibility for the smooth flow of tax preparation by communicating status updates between staff and clients. She also focuses on growing and developing the organization’s team of tax professionals and drives the development of new business.
She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Cornell University in 2012 and her Master’s degree from Virginia Tech in 2014.
In her spare time, DeAnna enjoys hiking, playing tennis, globetrotting, and cooking dishes inspired by her travels.
