How do you help clients stay grounded and focused during periods of market volatility or transition?

How do you personally define success, both for yourself and for the families you serve?
Having the ability to work (or cease working) on your own terms and spend meaningful time with family and friends.

‘The Expanse’ by James S.A Corey – Apparently, Jeff Bezos agrees as he rescued the resulting TV show when the Sci-Fi Channel canceled it, paying millions to continue the series on Amazon Prime.
What core philosophy or favorite quote drives your daily approach to life?

What is a travel destination that completely changed your perspective or exceeded your expectations?
The Milford Track in the South Island of New Zealand. Only a limited number of hikers are allowed to walk the track each day and it books up months in advance. If you are planning to visit New Zealand, I would say this hike should be at the top of your list. It truly is “the finest walk in the world”.
Are you a cook or a reservation-maker? What is your signature dish or favorite local dining spot?
I love to enjoy a meal out but also love to cook! My family’s favorite is currently a recipe from Kenji Alt-Lopez: Peruvian Grilled Chicken with Green Sauce.
What was your very first job, and what humbling or valuable lesson did it teach you?
I went door-to-door selling pressure washing services early in high-school. I saved money, invested in a commercial machine with a 13 HP Honda engine and learned how to sell my services to strangers. I also learned about the challenge of operating as a partnership. I allowed a friend to join me who was timid about knocking on doors and bought a much less powerful machine…
What is your go-to order at a coffee shop?
A Flat White and a Chocolate Croissant

I worked as an Abraham Lincoln impersonator in front of a white-house gift store briefly as a summer job.
