Samantha Browning
Samantha Browning is a rising high school senior who is actively involved in both her school and local community. She currently serves as Class President and is a National Champion powerlifter, demonstrating her dedication, leadership, and strong work ethic both academically and athletically.
As the youngest of three daughters, Samantha values spending quality time with family and friends and believes in building meaningful relationships both personally and professionally. She plans to attend a four-year university to pursue a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, along with a minor in Exercise Science. Following college, she hopes to build a successful career within the finance industry.
Samantha has been a Client Service Specialist at Acorn Financial Services since 2023, where she has developed strong organizational, communication, and client service skills. Known for being dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented, she is committed to creating positive experiences for clients and colleagues alike. Samantha consistently strives to support those around her and make each interaction as helpful and efficient as possible.
What is the most rewarding part of your relationship with our clients?
I enjoy being able to sit down with our clients, ask how their day has been, and genuinely create meaningful connections.
When faced with a complex or unprecedented problem, what is your process for finding clarity?
I sit down and analyze the problem from all different possible perspectives. I talk things out with those involved and then come up with possible solutions for the issue. I try to ensure everyone’s perspectives are understood and their questions are answered.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
One of my teachers once said to me, “Be the reason someone smiles today”. This really stuck with me because no matter what kind of day you are having, you shouldn’t let that affect how you treat those around you. Show up with a smile on your face and make others smile.
What core philosophy or favorite quote drives your daily approach to life?
My favorite quotes are “but what if it all works out” and “Imagine where you would be next year if you started now”. These are both so inspiring for me because they give me courage to keep going and believe in myself.
If you had a completely free, uninterrupted Saturday, where are you most likely to be found and how are you spending it?
I will always spend a free day with my loved ones and probably shopping.
What is something others may be surprised to learn about you?
I am in high school.
What is a subject you could easily give a 30-minute presentation on with zero preparation?
How much being involved in my school and local community has impacted my life. Having school spirit and being deeply involved in my school has changed my high school experience for the better.
Whether it is vintage watches, rare books, or just great memories, what is something you love to collect?
I love to collect small memories like pictures or little tokens to save and have when I look back to.
Are you a cook or a reservation-maker? What is your signature dish or favorite local dining spot?
I am definitely a reservation-maker and my go-to is always a good spicy vodka pasta from an Italian restaurant.
If you could have front-row tickets to any event in the world—whether it’s The Masters, opening night at the Met, or a historical concert—where are you going?
My dream event is going to the Kentucky Derby with my Dad!
When traveling, are you the ‘color-coded itinerary’ person or the ‘let’s just see where the day takes us’ person?
I am usually a good mix of both. On our journey to and from the destination I am definitely the color-coded itinerary/Type A person but on the vacation I am always down for whatever and just want to enjoy the experience!
What is your go-to order at a coffee shop?
My go-to at a coffee shop is a Strawberry Acai refresher with lemonade! Not a coffee person!
Are you a dog person, a cat person?
I have both cats and dogs but I am definitely more of a cat person! I have my own orange kitten named Willow Goose!
