What is the most rewarding part of your relationship with our clients?
The most rewarding part of my work is the personal connection I build with our clients. I truly enjoy the process of getting to know them as individuals, which allows me to provide more meaningful support as we work together to achieve their goals.
What professional achievement are you most proud of and why?
I am very proud of the investment record my partners and I achieved, a 4-star and 5-star Morningstar rating we maintained in our two mutual funds.
What book, publication, or thinker has most influenced your professional mindset recently?
I always fall back to Benjamin Graham’s book, ‘Intelligent Investor,’ which I believe remains the most insightful, and helpful resource for financial professionals.
What core philosophy or favorite quote drives your daily approach to life?
My daily approach is driven by two fundamental principles: a commitment to continuous learning and a focus on servant leadership. I believe that by constantly expanding my knowledge and prioritizing the needs of others in every decision, I can provide the most meaningful value to our clients and our team.
What is the most important financial or life lesson you hope to pass down to the next generation?
Make a plan, implement it, and assess it at regular intervals. Be flexible and refine it as needed to reach your goals and objectives. Importantly, the old adage, “nothing is ever guaranteed other than death and taxes,” is solid wisdom, so don’t wait for things to happen but rather take the initiative and drive the results.

What is something others may be surprised to learn about you?
I obtained a patent for data analysis software that I use in support of the investments I manage.
If you were to host a dinner party for three fascinating people (living or historical), who is sitting at your table?
I would love to have a dinner that included Peter Lynch, Warren Buffett, and my mother. While the first two are among the most inspiring investors for me, my mother was one of the most pleasant, and heartwarming people I have ever known and she would help ensure the best discussion.
If you could have front-row tickets to any event in the world, where are you going?
Any event that would include my wife and three, adult kids. Everyone is so busy with their own lives that we rarely have the opportunity to spend time together outside of birthdays.
When traveling, are you the ‘color-coded itinerary’ person or the ‘let’s just see where the day takes us’ person?
The answer to this depends on with whom I am travelling and how ambitious the trip and expectations are heading into the trip. However, I like to be organized with flights and hotels in advance but typically enjoy being in the moment and not overly scheduling the days.
What is your go-to order at a coffee shop?
A cab. I jest, but I am among a likely very small group of people that do not drink or like coffee at all.
