What professional achievement are you most proud of and why?

I take a lot of pride in being the person who ensures the foundation is solid and that the little things are never overlooked. I’ve always believed that if you handle the small details with care, the big things tend to take care of themselves—whether I’m at home with my family or out in the community.

What is a subject you could easily give a 30-minute presentation on with zero preparation?

Coaching youth sports because it’s a subject I’ve lived and breathed for years. My core message is always that there are much bigger things at stake than the results on the scoreboard. To me, coaching is really about the mentorship and character-building that happens in those small, daily moments on the sidelines—the things that stay with a player long after the season ends.

If you could have front-row tickets to any event in the world, where are you going?

If I could be front row for any sporting event or concert in history, I would choose to see Queen’s iconic performance at the 1985 Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium. It would be incredible to witness one of my favorite bands delivering such a legendary set in front of 85,000 fans.

When traveling, are you the ‘color-coded itinerary’ person or the ‘let’s just see where the day takes us’ person?

When it comes to travel, I’m definitely not the guy with a rigid, color-coded itinerary; I’m much more of a “let’s see where the day takes us” kind of person. I’ve found that some of the best memories happen in those unplanned moments and spontaneous detours that you just can’t schedule. For me, a real vacation is about the freedom to follow the road—or the mood—wherever it leads.

Fun Fact.

I hope one day to visit the moon
