What is your favorite quote and why? “I love it when a plan comes together” – John ‘Hannibal’ Smith. This quote captures the satisfaction and success felt when a carefully crafted financial strategy achieves its intended results. Creating and implementing a detailed financial plan tailored to a client’s goals and then seeing that plan effectively come to fruition, brings a deep sense of accomplishment.
What is your favorite place in the world and why? It’s difficult to pick just one! Queenstown, New Zealand has breathtaking mountain views, plenty of high things to jump off and one of the best burger joints around – Fergburger. Gili Air, Indonesia offers great scuba diving, cold drinks on perfect beaches and a serenity I’ve not found anywhere else. My absolute favorite place, however, would have to be the Scottish Highlands. The air is clean, the lochs and scenery are humbling and it just so happens to be where my wife and I married.
What does true leadership mean to you? True leadership means inspiring and empowering others to achieve their best while fostering a culture of trust, respect and collaboration.
There isn’t anything laughter can’t fix.
In another life, I would probably be: a touring car race driver.

Outside of the office, Michael enjoys exploring his new home with his wife, Christina and their two dogs, Parsley and Roo. He is always open to new restaurant or brewery suggestions and looks forward to joining a local pick-up soccer league.
